Societies are becoming increasingly more aware of what are the consequences of our own actions on our beloved planet, especially when we take in consideration production of small, medium and large companies led by the increasing demand of our population, often blinded by reaching profitable results at all costs. This relatively new level of awareness has created the necessity to be explained, studied and implemented, not only within companies but also, in everyday life. Many writers and professors like Roberto Bermejo and Ragnar E. Löfstedt studied the matter trough times and are trying to explain as well as create a sort of framework in order to facilitate the integration, acceptance and awareness of such matters. Within the first part, we see how this tendency evolved, what are the figures around it and, some of the key differences among several countries. It will be explained how plastic, one of the most pollutants materials, is consuming planet earth, and which could be the solutions. Then we will analyse generally the business model, processes and a key green initiative from the company: ¿Cantina del Ciabot¿ of Fia Rocco, a winemaker company since 1896, and how it changed trough times. At last, there will be an analysis and explanation of the correlation between their evolving activities and projects, especially the linea Brancacci a sustainable alternative to the traditional wine, and its link to the increase in profitability.

Abstract
