L'Epistolario di Abelardo ed Eloisa: nuove prospettive ermeneutiche.

We examine the correspondence of Abelardo and Eloisa (epistles I-VI) and all the related set of critical studies, starting from the problem of authenticity.A brief history of the reception is then reconstructed and the major interpretative hypotheses are analyzed, identifying the points of contact and the possible hermeneutical errors. Finally, a new interpretation of the work is proposed, based on the consideration of the text as a product of the monastic culture, of which Abelardo and Eloisa were part: it proposes to reconsider the text from God's perspective.

Si prende in esame l'Epistolario di Abelardo ed Eloisa (epistole I-VI) e tutto il relativo corredo di studi critici, a partire dal problema dell'autenticità; si ricostruisce, poi, una breve storia della ricezione e si analizzano le maggiori ipotesi interpretative, individuandone i punti di contatto e i possibili errori ermeneutici. Si propone, infine, una nuova interpretazione dell'opera, basata sulla considerazione del testo come un prodotto della cultura monastica, della quale Abelardo ed Eloisa facevano parte: si propone, insomma, di riconsiderare il testo alla luce della prospettiva di Dio.
