L'integrazione linguistica dei richiedenti asilo: una sfida educativa

This thesis addresses the topic of integration of asylum seekers into the Italian context. In particular I focused on a crucial factor for this process: the language. Learning Italian is in fact the starting point from which it is possible to make all the other aspects of life emerge: the bonds, the work, the autonomy in the management of the daily tasks, the health, the school, to take part in events, to know how to steer in the services that A territory offers... Without knowing the language, all this becomes very difficult, if there is not someone willing to help us. For this reason, the first step in the direction of integration is a good communicative exchange that guarantees greater understanding and therefore greater mutual trust and that leads to positive changes in the social fabric of our country.

Questa tesi affronta il tema dell'integrazione dei richiedenti asilo, nel contesto italiano. In particolare mi sono concentrata su un fattore cruciale per questo processo: la lingua. Imparare l'italiano è infatti il punto di partenza da cui è possibile far scaturire tutti gli altri aspetti della vita: i legami, il lavoro, l'autonomia nella gestione dei compiti quotidiani, la salute, la scuola, prendere parte a eventi, sapersi orientare nei servizi che un territorio offre. Senza conoscere la lingua, tutto ciò diventa molto difficile, se non c'è qualcuno disposto ad aiutarci. Per questo motivo, il primo passo da compiere nella direzione dell'integrazione è un buon scambio comunicativo che garantisca maggiore comprensione e quindi una maggiore fiducia reciproca e che conduca a cambiamenti positivi nel tessuto sociale del nostro paese.
