L'organizzazione dell'osservazione e del trattamento delle vittime di reato: l'esperienza dell'associazione Rete Dafne Onlus

The aim of this thesis is to deepen and explore the topic of victimology, for a long time left in the shadows. Over the years, the study of the victims of crime has grown, following the idea that in order to study the criminal phenomenon, it is necessary to consider not only the offender with their own specific characteristics, but also the victim with all their own distinctive elements, as well as the relationship between the victim and the offender. This analysis highlights the importance of setting up support centers that can accommodate and provide adequate support to those who have suffered the effects of crime. In this essay, we explore the experience of the Rete Dafne Onlus association, one of the first centers established in Italy and compliant with Directive 2012/29/EU, and present a case of the intervention approach addressed to a victim of crime, assisted by the Rete Dafne through psychological support.

L'obiettivo di questa tesi è stato quello di approfondire ed esplorare il tema della vittimologia, a lungo lasciato in ombra. Negli anni lo studio delle vittime di reato è cresciuto, iniziando a farsi avanti l'idea che per studiare il fenomeno criminale occorresse considerare non solo l'autore di reato con le sue caratteristiche specifiche, ma anche la vittima con tutti i suoi elementi distintivi e il rapporto di questa con il reo. Nella presente analisi viene evidenziata l'importanza di istituire centri di supporto che possano accogliere e fornire l'adeguato sostegno e ascolto a coloro che abbiano subito gli effetti derivanti dal reato. È stata approfondita l'esperienza dell'associazione Rete Dafne Onlus, tra i primi modelli di Rete a sorgere in Italia e ad adeguarsi alla Direttiva 2012/29/UE, esponendo un caso esemplificativo dell'approccio di intervento rivolto a una vittima di reato assistita dalla Rete Dafne tramite il sostegno psicologico.
