Bertolt Brecht ed il teatro epico: tra tradizione e innovazione

This dissertation is the study of Bertolt Brecht, one of the main authors and playwrights of the first half of the nineteenth century. In the first part of the dissertation, the historic period in which the author works is outlined, together with the most important events of his life. In the second chapter, it is analysed the concept of «epic theatre», which was introduced by Brecht, focusing on the "Dreigroschenoper", to which the third chapter is dedicated.

Nella dissertazione viene proposto lo studio di Bertolt Brecht, uno dei più importanti autori e drammaturghi del primo Novecento. Nella prima parte viene delineato il periodo storico nel quale l'autore opera, insieme agli avvenimenti salienti della sua vita. Nel secondo capitolo viene analizzata la concezione di «teatro epico» introdotta da Brecht, con particolare attenzione alla "Dreigroschenoper", alla quale viene dedicato il terzo capitolo.
