Alessandro Terracini (1889-1968) e l'Unione Matematica Italiana nel secondo dopoguerra

My thesis is dedicated to the figure of Alessandro Terracini, an illustrious representative of the Italian School of Geometry, and his contribution to the national scientific community through his work at the Italian Mathematical Union (U.M.I.) after World War II. The accurate reconstruction of the Turin mathematician's contributions is based on the review of the U.M.I.'s Bulletin and it is enriched by the help of unpublished documents.

La mia tesi di laurea è dedicata alla figura di Alessandro Terracini, illustre rappresentante della Scuola italiana di geometria, e al suo apporto alla comunità scientifica nazionale mediante l'operato presso l'Unione Matematica Italiana nel secondo dopoguerra. La ricostruzione accurata dei contributi del matematico torinese si basa sulla rassegna del Notiziario del Bollettino dell'U.M.I. ed è arricchita dall'ausilio di documenti inediti.
