Il sistema dell'arte moderna e contemporanea a Torino

My research concerns the modern and contemporary art system in Turin. Firstly, I will illustrate the activities carried out by the cultural centres in this area; then, I will talk about the importance of both cultural and banking foundations; chapter 3 deals with Turin museums and their relevance on the city context; then, in chapter 4, I will analyse some art galleries, from their birth to the functions they currently have; in chapter 5, I will illustrate the role and the purposes of art fairs and auction houses, with a mention to TV auctions; finally, I will present the main festivals and the most important events taking place in Turin.

La mia analisi riguarda il sistema dell'arte moderna e contemporanea a Torno. In primo luogo, illustrerò le attività che svolgono i centri culturali presenti sul territorio; in seguitò, parlerò dell'importanza che hanno le Fondazioni sia culturali che di origine bancaria; nel terzo capitolo, tratterò i musei torinesi e la rilevanza che essi hanno sul tessuto urbano; successivamente, passerò all'analisi di alcuni gallerie d'arte, dalla loro nascita alle funzioni che attualmente svolgono; nel quinto capitolo, illustrerò il ruolo e le finalità delle fiere d'arte e delle case d'asta, con un accenno anche alle peculiarità che contraddistinguono le aste televisive; infine, presenterò i principali festival, i più importanti eventi e le più conosciute manifestazioni che si svolgono a Torino e che richiamano in ogni periodo dell'anno turisti da tutto il mondo.
