The debate on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goes back to several decades, but it was not until the 1970s that it became a prime issue. The meaning of CSR has gradually changed over time by the economic development, the improvement of the systems and even the transformation of the values. The idea of sustainable development continues to increase its importance not only within the economic and scientific disciplines but also in the most modern management theories related to the company organizational development in general. More and more companies, from multinational corporations to the state companies of developing countries, tend to apply Corporate Social Responsibility theories that take into account the needs of a globalized world. The purpose of this work is to observe whether the willingness of Chinese companies to implement social responsibility in their business policies arises from a deep understanding of the potential of this tool, or if it is just a label to be applied on the Made in China brand to make it more appealing at international level. Moreover, the aim is also to analyze the implementation of Chinese CSR policies with particular reference to the international standards.

Abstract
Moreover, the aim is also to analyze the implementation of Chinese CSR policies with particular reference to the international standards.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
