The noble metal nanoparticles have been intensively studied for a long time. The photonic properties of gold or silver particles are appealing for materials applications. For example, gold nanoparticles offer a wide spectrum of applications in biomedicine. When it is used for biomedicine, there is a crucial issue which is their cytotoxicity. It depends on various factors, including morphology. Because nanoparticles have an effect on cell membrane integrity, due to their different geometries as well as physical and chemical interactions with cell membranes. We focused on the preparation of gold nanoparticles which is useful for the biomedical application. To know the effect of gold nanoparticle on the application, the gold nanoparticles which are homogenous size and shape are needed. We tried several methods to prepare gold nanoparticles, and homogeneous gold nanoparticles were obtained.
