Corea del Nord. Gli aspetti sconosciuti di uno Stato totalitario socialista.

The development of this work firstly aims to put in evidence the social-political and cultural situations of this nation; from the examination of these aspects, through the study and analysis of numerous texts and articles concerning the reality of this country, there will be an attempt to explain how this form of government was erected and how it is embraced by its population. Moreover, a comparison between North Korea and other socialist regimes is carried out, in order to identify and underline the characterizing aspects which distinguish them. In conclusion, Eisenstadt's "Theory of multiple modernities" is applied to the North Korean context to show the way this country has become what it is.

Lo svolgimento di questo lavoro si pone innanzitutto come obiettivo quello di mettere in evidenza le situazioni sociali-politiche e culturali di questa nazione; dall'esame di questi aspetti, attraverso lo studio e l'analisi di numerosi testi ed articoli trattanti la realtà di questo Paese, si cerca di spiegare come si sia eretta tale forma di governo e di come essa venga accolta dalla sua popolazione. Viene inoltre sviluppato un confronto tra la Corea del Nord e altri regimi di tipo socialista così da individuare e sottolineare gli aspetti caratterizzanti che li contraddistinguono. Infine, viene applicata la "Teoria delle modernità multiple" di Eisenstadt al contesto nordcoreano per mostrare la strada che questo Paese ha intrapreso per diventare ciò che è oggi.
