Boisrobert ispirò Molière? Analisi de La Belle Plaideuse e confronto con L'Avare

The dissertation compares the play La Belle Plaideuse by Boisrobert with Molière's Avare. It is divided into three chapters: the first chapter deals with the life of the author and his works, which will be extremely important for the analysis of the play. The second chapter is the actual study of the play La Belle Plaideuse. It was published in 1655 and after being staged for a short time was forgotten and very criticized. Nevertheless it is important to analyze its characteristics, such as its sources and for which future plays was an inspiration. The third chapter, is the fulcrum of the dissertation and presents a comparison between La Belle Plaideuse and L'Avare. The characters, the scenes and the similar elements were analyzed in order to demonstrate that Molière actually took inspiration from Boisrobert's work.

È divisa in tre capitoli: il primo capitolo tratta la vita dell'autore e le sue opere, che si riveleranno di fondamentale importanza per l'analisi dell'opera. Il secondo capitolo consiste nello studio vero e proprio della commedia La Belle Plaideuse. Fu pubblicata nel 1655 e dopo essere andata in scena per poco tempo venne dimenticata e molto criticata. Ciò nonostante è importante analizzare le sue caratteristiche, quali le fonti e le ispirazioni. Il terzo capitolo, è il fulcro della dissertazione e presenta un confronto della commedia con L'Avare. Sono stati presi in analisi i personaggi, le scene e gli elementi simili tra loro, al fine di dimostrare come effettivamente Molière si sia ispirato all'opera di Boisrobert.
