In the popular imagination the business world is ruled by rigid market logics and by economic-productive objectives with the sole purpose of generate profits, this conception may be considered overcome. The reason is surely attributable to the kind of era that we are living in, characterized by constant change and incertitude, to which are added globalization and a new mentality of the consumer, more aware and conscious of their purchase choices. It is therefore essential, especially in the field of business, to overcome the conventional paradigms which are nowadays unable to cope successfully with the current challenges of the world economy. In relation to this, we are going to analyze the panorama of the HR management, focusing on issues such as the CSR, the importance of people and motivation in the workplace (related to the interesting Maslow Pyramid) and the Work-Life Balance, connected to the Covid-19 pandemic situation. An example of response to the new needs that have arisen can be found in the business case that I’m going to present of Brunello Cucinelli.
