Il ruolo dei gesti osservati sull'oblio motivato

Memory can be defined as the ability to accumulate information and retrieve it over time. Unlike what was hypothesized in the past, memory is not a simple recorder of events with memories that are equivalent to a copy of sensory experience. It is so much more. But memory is not only capable of remembering, it is also capable of forgetting. It could therefore be said that you cannot remember something if you have not forgotten something else. Based on what has just been expressed, the following elaborate, and subsequently the experiment conducted, we want to focus on the process of oblivion and the role found by the gestures observed within this process.

La memoria può essere definita come la capacità di accumulare informazioni e di recuperarle nel corso del tempo. A differenza di quanto si ipotizzava in passato, la memoria non è un semplice registratore di eventi con ricordi che equivalgono ad una copia dell’esperienza sensoriale. È molto di più. La memoria però non è solo in grado di ricordare, ma è anche in grado di dimenticare. Si potrebbe dunque affermare che non si può ricordare qualcosa se non si è dimenticato qualcos’altro. Sulla base di quanto appena espresso, il seguente elaborato, e successivamente l’esperimento condotto, si vogliono soffermare sul processo dell’oblio e sul ruolo riscontrato dai gesti osservati all’interno di tale processo.
