Eufemismo, disfemismo e tabù linguistico ai tempi di Facebook

My thesis deals with the topic of euphemism and the topic of linguistic taboo and how these phenomena can still cause discomfort today. Furthermore, I dwelt on a very topical topic, namely that of the disparity between female and male language and the introduction in Treccani of the terms of the female professions. The good is to understand how we can have an inclusive language for both genders. In the third and final chapter I tried to analyze the change that our language is undergoing from the advent of social networks, in particular Facebook, to today. The goal is to shed light on how the web is leading speakers to an increasingly ordinary use of the written language.

La mia tesi tratta l’argomento dell’eufemismo e del tabù linguistico e di come questi fenomeni ancora oggi possano causare del disagio ai parlanti. Inoltre, mi sono soffermata su un argomento molto attuale e cioè quello della disparità tra il linguaggio femminile e maschile e dell’introduzione nella Treccani dei termini delle professioni femminili. Il fine è capire come possiamo avere un linguaggio inclusivo per entrambi i generi. Nel terzo e ultimo capitolo ho cercato di analizzare il cambiamento che sta subendo la nostra lingua dall’avvento dei social network, in particolare Facebook, ad oggi. L’obiettivo è far luce su come la rete stia portando i parlanti ad un uso sempre più ordinario della lingua scritta.
