In this final dissertation it was examined every factor that brings gender discrimination in the market place in Albania but also in Turkey from an economic point of view.To begin with,everyone will be introduced with a hypothetical model which helps the reader to understand better the difference of a work place with and without prejudice against females.Based on the conclusion the effects were unfavorable which directed the economy of each family lacking sufficient money.The second chapter gives information about the actual situation in Albania illustrating step by step the everyday improvement with data of employment as well as GDP per capita but also the growth rate etc. On the third chapter we look at the Turkey’s economy as a state with deep traditions.Firstly we look at the labor market equilibrium in a non-discriminatory way. To continue we introduce gender inequality modeled as an exclusion derived of women from management roles as well as from jobs asking different academic achievements. The model that is showed in the study demonstrates how this inequal practice impacts the equilibrium wage rate, also the labor market between managerial and labor roles of males and females, economic growth and individual education investment. Discrimination lowers equilibrium earnings for both male and female workers as well as lowers financing in human capital for them. Based on the results of the study we come into a conclusion that every policy implemented in Albania and Turkey is giving nowadays it’s result which means having quasi the same representation in every sector of the economy by men’s and women’s.
