Il Sè virtuale: lo sviluppo identitario nell'ambiente digitale e le sue implicazioni nella realtà quotidiana

The paper aims to explain the development of virtual identity starting from the self-concept of Stephen Mitchell and Lewis Aron. Analyzing the construct, three fundamental identity characteristics are identified: relationality, authenticity and corporeality. By demonstrating how these elements are attributable to both the real self and the virtual self, it can be said that digital identity is an integral part of personality. The differences and similarities between the two constructs are highlighted by the interviews proposed in the Appendix and their analysis.

L'elaborato vuole spiegare lo sviluppo dell'identità virtuale partendo dal concetto di sè di Stephen Mitchell e Lewis Aron. Analizzando il costrutto si identificano tre caratteristiche identitarie fondamentali: relazionalità, autenticità e corporeità. Dimostrando come questi elementi siano attribuibili sia al sè reale che al sè virtuale, si può affermare che l'identità digitale è parte integrante della personalità. Le differenze e le similitudini tra i due costrutti sono messe in evidenza dalle interviste proposte in Appendice e dalla loro analisi.
