"Mani sporche e mente aperta" Un progetto di didattica laboratoriale per la scuola primaria

"Dirty hands and open mind" is a thesis project done in two first year classes of primary school. This thesis project proposes a historical excursus that resumes the main school evolutions from the Constitution to today influenced by the theories of the twentieth century thinkers, in the evolutionary and scholastic field. Following a focused look at the teaching of science, a workshop didactic project aimed at the discovery of the soil is presented. Through the reading of the book "Avrò cura di te" by Giraldo and Bertelle, the children helped a blackcap to find the right soil in which to plant and take care of a small seed. During the project, the children have been active protagonists of their own learning process through the formulation of hypotheses and their verifications in scientific experiments conducted together. During this journey to the discovery of the soil, the children were able to recognize the right place to sow and "got their hands dirty" in the ground to take care of the seeds and their environment, in an active and conscious way.

"Mani sporche e mente aperta" è un progetto di tesi svolto in due classi prime della scuola primaria. Il progetto di tesi propone un excursus storico che riprende le principali evoluzioni scolastiche dalla Costituzione ad oggi, influenzate dalle teorie dei pensatori del Novecento, in ambito evolutivo e scolastico. Successivamente ad uno sguardo mirato alla Didattica delle scienze, è presentato un progetto di didattica laboratoriale volto alla scoperta del suolo, destinato a due classi prime. Attraverso la lettura del libro "Avrò cura di te" di Giraldo e Bertelle, i bambini hanno aiutato una capinera a trovare il suolo giusto in cui piantare e prendersi cura di un piccolo semino. Durante il progetto, i bambini sono stati protagonisti attivi del proprio processo di apprendimento, attraverso la formulazione di ipotesi e le relative verifiche, con esperimenti scientifici condotti insieme. Durante questo percorso, alla scoperta del suolo, i bambini sono stati in grado di riconoscere il posto adatto per seminare e "si sono sporcati le mani" nella terra, per prendersi cura dei semi e del relativo ambiente, in modo attivo e consapevole.
