ANALISI DI BILANCIO COMPARATIVA PER SETTORI: LE SOCIETA QUOTATE MONGOLE

Abstract The thesis is concentrated on analyzing Mongolian listed companies’ financial data using ratio analysis. In 1990 Mongolia shifted to a market economy, and the first stock exchange was established in 1992, which reveals the maturity of Mongolian listed companies. The author’s goal is to evaluate the financial status, and financial health of Mongolian listed companies and compare the different sectors to rank which sector shows better performance compared to the benchmark, and when each sector has a big impact on their trends. The author used 83 listed companies’ nine years’ financial statements used as a dataset for the thesis. The main tool is the ratio analysis method. Using the complexity of the ratio author’s goal was to evaluate and analyze Mongolian main sectors. The author used descriptive analysis, divided the companies into seven main sectors, and ranked the result of average nine years’ financial parameter. The author analyzed the trend of each sector’s profitability, liquidity, stability, growth, and turnover.
