Il mito di Gauguin sulle pagine dei giornali

My thesis is concerned with investigating the role that is given of the artist Gauguin in non-specialist newspapers such as “La Stampa” and “il Corriere della sera.” a perusal of newspaper articles that are concerned with investigating the figure related to the “myth of Gauguin” was made. The first chapter analyzes the exhibitions that appear in the newspaper articles where Gauguin's works are featured and at the end mentions the exhibitions that were not examined by these newspapers. The second chapter deals with the figure of the artist through his destinations particularly Brittany and Tahiti, his letters written to his wife and friends, and finally the Scientific and Non-Scientific Role analyzed through the Wildenstein catalog and posthumous films dedicated to Gauguin.

La mia tesi si occupa di indagare il ruolo che viene dato dell'artista Gauguin sui giornali non specialistici quali "La Stampa" e "il Corriere della sera". è stato fatto uno spoglio di articoli di giornale che si occupano di indagare la figura relativa al "mito di Gauguin". Nel primo capitolo vengono analizzate le mostre che compaiono negli articoli di giornale dove sono presenti presenti opere di Gauguin e alla fine si citano le mostre che non sono state prese in esame da queste testate giornalistiche. Il secondo capitolo si occupa della figura dell'artista attraverso le sue mete in particolare la Bretagna e Tahiti, le sue lettere scritte alla moglie e agli amici ed infine il ruolo scientifico e non analizzato tramite il catalogo Wildenstein e i film postumi dedicati a Gauguin.
