Dipendenza da Internet: una minaccia per la salute mentale delle persone, possibili spunti educativi

The thesis I have developed addresses the topic of addiction to the internet; a topic chosen for its growing importance in today’s society, where this phenomenon is growing more and more as a real pathology. My first task was to analyse the origins of the Internet and its many facets, and I have now come to the present situation. Examining the use of the Internet in different generations, focusing on social phenomena born in the net. In the development of the disorder, I also explored the role of the professional educator in addressing this problem, emphasizing the importance of involving the family context. The methodology used for the thesis was based on extensive research, through the use of websites, articles and books written by experts in the field, both in psychological and other relevant areas.

La tesi da me svolta affronta il tema della dipendenza da internet; un argomento scelto per la sua crescente importanza nella società odierna, dove questo fenomeno sta crescendo sempre di più come una vera e propria patologia. Sono partita con un’analisi delle origini di Internet e delle sue numerose sfaccettature, fino a giungere alla situazione attuale. Esaminando l’uso di Internet nelle diverse generazioni, soffermandomi sui fenomeni sociali nati in rete. Approfondendo lo sviluppo del disturbo, ho esplorato anche il ruolo dell’educatore professionale nell'affrontare questo problema, sottolineando l’importanza del coinvolgimento del contesto familiare. La metodologia utilizzata per la realizzazione della tesi si è basata su una ricerca approfondita, tramite l'utilizzo di siti web, articoli e libri scritti da esperti nel campo, sia in ambito psicologico che in altri settori rilevanti.
