La lingua della DDR: analisi dei ricorsi stilistico - linguistici in articoli di quotidiano tratti dal Leipziger Volkszeitung

In this paper, first I investigate which differences exist in the vocabulary between the GDR and FRG language and then I focus the second part of my paper on the theme of SED's language, the language of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany, trying to outline in which measure the language of the GDR was controlled and manipulated in every aspect. In this second part I make use of the GDR's newspaper articles and I analyze in particular two linguistic and stylistic aspects: the use of wir (we) pronoun and derivatives, and the massive use of abbreviations both in everyday life and in simple articles.

In tale tesi, mi focalizzo in un primo momento sulle differenze lessicali esistenti tra la lingua della DDR e della BRD, andando poi a concentrarmi, nella seconda parte, sul tema della lingua del SED, partito di unità socialista di Germania, provando a mettere in luce in quale misura la lingua della DDR fosse controllata e manipolata in ogni suo aspetto. In questa seconda parte di tesi, utilizzo articoli di giornale risalenti alla DDR e ne analizzo in particolare due aspetti stilistici e linguistici: l'uso del pronome wir (noi) e derivati, e il massiccio uso di abbreviazioni sia nella vita quotidiana che in semplici articoli di giornale.
