AUTISMO. Imparare è possibile

In this Degree Thesis, after an excursus on the Autism Syndrome, on the instruments of diagnosis and of funcional evaluation together with the possible treatment methods, will be presented the intervention modalities utilized in the day hospital VEGA of the "Presidio Sanitario San Camillo" of Turin. In chapter 4 will be presented a research project that wants to examine the possible changes in 7 children dubmitted to the treatment at the day hospital VEGA. To this aim will be analyzed the profiles obtained by the PEP-R test and also the scors obtained in the VABS scales in the moment of the first evaluation and in the follow-up

In questa tesi di laurea, dopo un excursus sulla sindrome autistica, gli strumenti di diagnosi e valutazione funzionale ed i possibili metodi di trattamento, saranno presentate le modalità di intervento che sono utilizzate presso il servizio ¿VEGA¿. Nel capitolo 4 verrà presentato un progetto di ricerca che si propone prendere in esame gli eventuali cambiamenti di sette bambini sottoposti ad un anno di trattamento presso il day hospital ¿VEGA¿. Per fare questo si analizzeranno i profili rilevati dal test PEP-R (Psycho-Educational Profile ¿ Revised, Schopler e coll.,1989) ed i punteggi ottenuti nelle scale VABS(Vineland ¿ Adaptive Behavior Scales, Sparrow e coll.1984) al momento della prima valutazione e al follow-up.
