LaSrCoO4 has been reported to form several oxygen deficient phases when reduced with CaH2 at low temperatures. One of these phases has been reported to contain hydrogen, which forms LaSrCoO3H0.7, implying that hydrogen enters the lattice as hydride ion. Since the formation of an oxide-hydride phase is totally unusual and the neutron diffraction data published in literature contains several contaminations, one aim of this master thesis is to optimize the experimental synthesis conditions in order to obtain pure LaSrCoO3Hx phase, which should then be characterized by neutron powder diffraction. This should then result in a clear vision to interpret the structural features and especially to confirm undoubtedly the formation of an oxide-hydride phase.

Abstract
This should then result in a clear vision to interpret the structural features and especially to confirm undoubtedly the formation of an oxide-hydride phase.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
