Italian society is a multicultural one, because in the last 10 years there's been an increase and a stabilization of immigrant population. Survey's approach in this work is not an intraindividual analysis of migration experience, but a consideration of intergroup relations in real context, in particular multiethnic one. Starting with analysis of nature of Social Identity (Tajfel, 1976) and Contact Hypotesis (Allport, 1954), this work extend the perspective on Acculturation Strategies (Berry, 2001) adopted when two cultures meet each other. In Italy integration policies are delegated to the regions and provinces, so the research conducted attempted to find how locally them are designed and put into practice. Results showed that there is political will but national restrictions make it difficult to concretize.

Abstract
Results showed that there is political will but national restrictions make it difficult to concretize.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
