Stilemi della recitazione horror: il personaggio di Dracula dal muto al sonoro

In this thesis, the stylistic elements of acting in horror cinema are analyzed, with a focus on the transition between the silent and sound periods. The figure of Dracula in cinema is then examined, taken as a case study since it represents both periods mentioned and is the protagonist of numerous films that highlight the evolution of acting in horror cinema.

Nella presente tesi si analizzano gli stilemi della recitazione nel cinema horror, con un focus sulla transizione tra il periodo muto e il periodo sonoro. Viene poi analizzata la figura di Dracula al cinema, preso come casto studio in quanto rappresentante di entrambi i periodi citati e protagonista di numerosi film che mettono in luce l’evoluzione che la recitazione nel cinema horror ha subito.
