Economia e ambiente: due mondi a parte o in simbiosi?

The paper aims to provide a general overview of the relationship between the environment and the economy, both globally and within the EU. Subsequently, this thesis focuses more closely on the pollution generated by production processes and the systems adopted to reduce its environmental impact, especially in the European area. It will conclude by describing the situation and challenges that Italy faces in complying with the regulations imposed by the EU in order to achieve a more eco-sustainable economy

L'elaborato volge a dare un quadro generale sulla relazione esistente tra ambiente ed economia, sia a livello globale che nell'UE. Successivamente la presente tesi presta maggiore attenzione all'inquinamento prodotto dai processi di produzione e ai sistemi adottati per ridurne il relativo impatto ambientale, specialmente nella zona europea, e terminerà descrivendo la situazione e le difficoltà che l'Italia deve affrontare per adeguarsi alle norme imposte dall'UE al fine di ottenere un'economia più eco-sostenibile.
