Contronarrazione del continente Africano: riflessioni sull’approccio umanitario e l’operato delle ONG. ​

This work aims to promote a counter-narrative of the African continent. Starting with an overview of the history of Africa, the work focuses on the post-colonial era and humanitarian interventions on the continent, promoted by NGOs to compensate for state shortcomings. The aim is to criticize the welfare and dependency approach developed over the centuries and the dichotomy of global north and global south, with the last one in a position of inferiority. The final chapters analyse the approach of ten Italian NGOs working in different states of the continent and finally the last part gives voices to African theories from the south and Afro-descendant but Italian, all-female identities
