This paper provides an overview of homeownership and households in iran refer to the data of 2006 in the Iranian population. Because of fluctuations of fertility and mortality rates in different time periods, Iran has had a unique demographic profile. Moving to the elder society and necessity to attention more to this group. marriage is One of the primary factors that affected the homeownership, in compare the other variables As a result, with increase the the senior population and their desire to save more and also delay in marriage by considering the iran cultural and political situation we see that how the Iranian household make the economical decision.in this research we use the data from IPUMS-International data base. The IPUMS project is a collaboration of the Minnesota Population Center, National Statistical Offices, and international data archives. This research suggests that home ownership, and by extension material aspirations, are a key part of the family formation process. Material aspirations shape people's ideas about what is necessary for their particular personal life In fact, they scale people's assessments of their own willingness to their economical decision. In the marriage situation, people may assess their economic preparation for marriage in terms of their ability to afford a home regarding to their level of education, the employment state and the important part as the cultural and Islamic view that can effect on their personal life.
