El brote de la pandemia debida a la propagación de la enfermedad COVID-19 ha tenido un enorme impacto en todo el mundo. Centrándose en el ámbito cultural, el cierre impuesto por los gobiernos como medida de seguridad para combatir la infección ha afectado gravemente a las artes escénicas. Sin embargo, gracias a las modernas tecnologías, el teatro ha tenido la oportunidad de reinventarse con el desarrollo de proyectos novedosos. Entre ellos, destaca la iniciativa #Coronavirusplays lanzada en Twitter por el dramaturgo catalán Jordi Casanovas el 13 de marzo de 2020. El objetivo principal de esta tesis es analizar una selección de obras de microteatro publicadas en línea por dramaturgos españoles que se sumaron a la iniciativa durante la emergencia sanitaria. Tras presentar el proyecto de Casanovas, el género del microteatro y sus características, se proporcionará el análisis literario de los textos breves. Por último, esta tesis incluye un módulo didáctico sobre #Coronavirusplays implementado durante las prácticas en una escuela secundaria.

The main goal of this thesis is to analyse selected micro theatre works published online by Spanish playwrights who joined the initiative during the health emergency. After presenting Casanovas’ project, the micro theatre genre and its characteristics, the literary analysis of the short texts will be provided. Finally, this thesis includes a teaching module dealing with #Coronavirusplays implemented during the internship in a secondary school.
