In this work, we focus on showing how lifespan variation by socio-economic status can affect the survival probabilities and the price of life insurance products. In Chapter 1 we introduce and analyze the problem of the lifespan inequalities, also with an overview of the Italian situation. In Chapter 2 we study the dataset used and the manipulation adopted in order to manage it. In Chapter 3 we used two methods, the Coale-Kisker method and a stochastic non mean reverting affine process, to model the random evolution of mortality of an individual. In the last chapter we discuss and compare the results obtained from the two methods.

Abstract
In this work, we focus on showing how lifespan variation by socio-economic status can affect the survival probabilities and the price of life insurance products. In Chapter 1 we introduce and analyze the problem of the lifespan inequalities, also with an overview of the Italian situation. In Chapter 2 we study the dataset used and the manipulation adopted in order to manage it. In Chapter 3 we used two methods, the Coale-Kisker method and a stochastic non mean reverting affine process, to model the random evolution of mortality of an individual. In the last chapter we discuss and compare the results obtained from the two methods.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
