Nowadays people talk more and more about graphene and its potential application from an energetic, economic, electronic and medical point of view. In the world of Information Systems and quantum computing its functionalities are well known: the realization of longer lasting batteries and specific processors are just a few examples. Researchers are aware about the positive role graphene could take in different areas. That’s why in 2013 European Union financed with 1 billion euro the “Graphene Flagship”, a project which aims to secure a major role for Europe in the ongoing technological revolution, helping to bring graphene innovation out of the lab and into commercial but also medical applications. Research from a biomedical point of view is constantly evolving: until now studies brought to the realization of nanoparticles able to incorporate the drug and be vehiculated onto sick cells in order to eradicate the cancer. The aim of this dissertation is to highlight the potential use of graphene for the realization of new nanodrugs and the economic impact the replacement of existing instruments with these new ones would have.

Abstract
The aim of this dissertation is to highlight the potential use of graphene for the realization of new nanodrugs and the economic impact the replacement of existing instruments with these new ones would have.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
