Sull'inautenticità del "Crizia": indagine filosofica di un testo controverso

The thesis aims to prove the inauthenticity of the "Critias", a text attributed to Plato, by analyzing the discrepancies that can be found between this work and the one that dramatically precedes it, the "Timaeus". After a brief overview of the most authoritative positions on the topic, the work focuses on Critias and his identity, a key argument in order to admit the possibility that the author of the two works is different, because it is a discordance that is extremely difficult to reconcile. It will then close by analyzing other inconsistencies, both thematic and terminological.

La tesi si propone di provare l'inautenticità del "Crizia", testo attribuito a Platone, analizzando le discordanze che si possono riscontrare tra quest'opera e quella che drammaticamente la precede, il "Timeo". Dopo una breve panoramica delle posizioni più autorevoli sul tema, il lavoro si concentra su Crizia e sulla sua identità, argomento chiave per poter ammettere la possibilità che l'autore delle due opere sia differente, in quanto è una discordanza che è estremamente difficile da conciliare. Si chiuderà poi analizzando altre incongruenze, sia tematiche che terminologiche.
