Moncalieri medievale. Un itinerario alla scoperta del patrimonio architettonico.

This dissertation deals with the town of Moncalieri, in the province of Turin. It will delve into the history of the town, starting from its origin and focusing on the Middle Age. Then, the main buildings that influenced the development of Moncalieri will be detailed, such as notable churches and the castle. Finally, there will be a touristic itinerary throughout the streets of the city, paying more attention to the architectural aspects to discover the city.

Questa dissertazione riguarda la città di Moncalieri, in provincia di Torino. Si approfondirà la storia della città, partendo dalla nascita del borgo e soffermandosi sul Medioevo. Successivamente, si studieranno i principali edifici che hanno influito sullo sviluppo della città quali le chiese di rilievo e il castello. Infine, si tratterà un itinerario turistico attraverso le strade di Moncalieri, dando un maggiore sguardo all’architettura per scoprire la città.
