Indicatori testuali di depressione, ansia e stress su social network online: uno studio su Facebook

Through a textual analysis of the Facebook profiles of those involved has been built an index of correlation between categories of words identified by LIWC software and depression, anxiety and stress as measured by the DASS-21. It has also been proceeded to identify the differences in terms of textual production among subjects with scores of severe depression, anxiety and stress, using t-tests and logistic regression models with satisfactory results. It is possible to conceive an application of this research in the development of software tools for automated analysis of the text that give fast, efficient and economical  directions of these and other psychological variables in different contexts.

Attraverso un'analisi testuale dei profili Facebook dei soggetti coinvolti si è costruito un indice di correlazioni tra categorie di parole individuate dal software LIWC e depressione, ansia e stress misurate dal DASS-21. Si è inoltre proceduto all'individuazione delle differenze in termini di produzione testuale tra i soggetti che presentavano punteggi severi di depressione, ansia e stress, utilizzando t-test e modelli di regressione logistica, con risultati soddisfacenti. E' possibile immaginare un'estensione applicativa di questa ricerca nello sviluppo di strumenti software di analisi automatizzata del testo che diano indicazioni veloci, efficienti ed economiche di queste ed altre variabili psicologiche in diversi ambiti istituzionali e non.
