Il linguaggio non sincero: Quando emerge nei bambini. Quale ruolo gioca nella vita di relazione.

In this thesis a study is presented that investigated the development of children's ability to manage sincerity, according to different communicative contexts. In everyday interactions sincerity is expected, while there are specific forms of communicative acts where sincerity is not prescribed. Study investigated how children( N° 132, ranging in age from2.5 to 9.5 years) handled communicative situations in which sincerity played different roles; standard situations, fantasy stories, deceit and politeness situations. Results showed that the ability to deal with sincerity emerges gradually during the preschool years; moreover there was a trend of increasing difficulty from standard to politeness situations.

In questa tesi viene presentato uno studio che si propone di indagare come si sviluppi la capacità di utilizzare in modo flessibile la sincerità in contesti comunicativi diversi. Nelle interazioni comunicative quotidiane ci si attende la sincerità, sebbene ci siano specifici atti comunicativi nei quali essa non è prevista. Lo studio ha indagato come i bambini( N° 132, range 2.5-9.5 anni) gestiscano situazioni in cui la sincerità gioca ruoli differenti( comunicazione standard, storie di fantasia, inganno e cortesia). I risultati mostrano che l'abilità di trattare in modo appropriato la sincerità emerge gradualmente nel corso degli anni prescolari e che i diversi fenomeni comunicativi si dispongono lungo un continuum di difficoltà crescente, dalle situazioni standard alle forme di cortesia.
