LA DIREZIONE SPIRITUALE E LA FORMAZIONE DEI RELIGIOSI NEGLI ATTUALI PROGRAMMI FORMATIVI DI ISTITUTI SPIRITUALI ED UNIVERSITA' TEOLOGICHE

Since the beginning of last century the Spiritual Direction begins to face a deep crisis. The secularization and the spread of the new human sciences such as psychology , pedagogy and anthropology, make the role of the spiritual director ever less significant. It's by the Second Vatican Council that the Church begins to compare this new social situation with the past and decide to interfere in it changing some aspects of this ministry. The psychology ,for example, has been recognized as a matter of support for the training of future spiritual directors and supporting that theory, it invites the theological Institutes and Academies to change their own training programs in view of these social transformations . Another important aspect has been established by the Council documents recognize the laity the opportunity to apply to the role of the spiritual director , but this place has consequently the problem of forming these figures with a limited training than clerical . The dissertation highlights these problems and describes the solutions that are implemented to solve them. At the last part of the dissertation, we analyze the current programs of the courses of spiritual direction within the various theological institutes and academies to deepening our understanding and verifying the transformations.

A partire dagli inizi del secolo scorso la Direzione Spirituale comincia ad affrontare una profonda crisi. La secolarizzazione e la diffusione delle nuove scienze umane come la psicologia, la pedagogia e l'antropologia rendono il ruolo del direttore spirituale sempre meno significativo. E' con il Concilio Vaticano II che la Chiesa comincia a confrontarsi con questa nuova situazione sociale e a decidere di intervenire in merito trasformando alcuni aspetti di questo ministero. La psicologia ad esempio viene riconosciuta come materia di supporto per la formazione dei futuri direttori e a tal fine si invitano gli istituti e le università teologiche a modificare i loro programmi formativi in vista proprio di queste trasformazioni sociali. Altro aspetto fondamentale stabilito dai documenti conciliari è stato riconoscere anche ai laici la possibilità di candidarsi al ruolo di direttore spirituale,ma questo ha posto conseguentemente il problema di formare queste figure aventi una preparazione limitata rispetto a quella clericale. La dissertazione evidenzia tali problemi e descrive le soluzioni che vengono attuate per risolverli.Nella parte conclusiva vengono analizzati gli attuali programmi dei corsi di direzione spirituale all'interno dei vari Istituti e Università teologiche con il fine di approfondirne la comprensione e verificarne le trasformazioni.
