This thesis analyzes the evolution and distribution methods of television series in the United States since the 1960s, with a focus on the case of the Addams Family. The purpose is to identify the different stages of development of the television medium and the communication strategies that contributed to the success of this iconic family. This work will examine how technological evolution and changing audience habits have influenced the production and dissemination of audiovisual content, as well as the role of marketing and word of mouth in building a successful brand. Finally, the thesis aims to reflect on the future of television and the challenges posed by new technologies.
