La comunicazione tra infermiere e paziente schizofrenico

INTRODUCTION: The exposed arguments in my dissertation are the communication as a treatment to cure used by the nursing profession with schizophrenic patients, appraising the main found problems to come in contact with this persons and the efficacy of the communication through the review of the literature. PURPOSE: The goal that I want to achieve during the making of this dissertation is to describe with a critical way the difficulties and the causes that hinder an helpful relationship and a correct communication with schizophrenic patients, as well as the importance of the correct communication to use as a treatment, and the best communication strategies according the literature. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Bibliographic research on nursing, psychiatric and psychologic reference texts. Consultation of qualified websites and scientific databases (PubMed, PsycInfo, CINAHL). Active comparison with the Tutor and consultation of textbooks and the imparted material during the lessons. RESULTS: From the analysis of the revised documentation and the practical experience emerge as follows: without a correct communication cannot exist "a cure" for the patient, especially for people with mental disability. The nurse must have a specific knowledge about the human, scientific, technical and psychological nature, directed to the success of the communicative relationship. Accordingly the communication is an essential treatment's means, and the nurse must avail himself through the counseling, the psychological consult, the therapeutic project and the helping relationship.

ARGOMENTO: esposto nel mio elaborato finale riguarda la comunicazione intesa come strumento di cura utilizzato nella professione infermieristica, nei confronti di pazienti affetti da patologia schizofrenica, individuando le maggiori problematiche riscontrate dall'infermiere, nell'entrare in contatto con questa tipologia di pazienti e individuando l'efficacia della comunicazione. OBIETTIVO: dell'elaborato è descrivere in maniera critica le difficoltà e le cause che rendono difficile instaurare una relazione d'aiuto e una corretta comunicazione con i pazienti affetti da schizofrenia, individuando le migliori strategie comunicative per garantire una comunicazione efficace. MATERIALI E METODI: ricerca bibliografica su testi di riferimento di carattere infermieristico, psichiatrico e psicologico, consultazione di siti internet accreditati e banche dati scientifiche ( PubMed, PsycInfo, CINAHL ) confronto attivo con il tutor di riferimento e consultazione di testi didattici e materiale fornito durante le lezioni. RISULTATI: dall'analisi della documentazione revisionata è emerso che senza una corretta comunicazione non può esistere ¿una cura¿ per il paziente, in particolar modo quando si parla di persone con disabilità mentale. L'infermiere deve avere una conoscenza specifica sulla natura umana, scientifica, tecnica e psicologica, volta alla buona riuscita della relazione comunicativa. Quindi la comunicazione è strumento di cura fondamentale e l'infermiere deve avvalersene attraverso il consueling, il colloquio, il progetto terapeutico e la relazione d'aiuto.
