This work is based on a search for anomalous γγ → ZZ production in proton-proton collisions, using intact forward protons reconstructed by the CMS experiment’s Precision Proton Spectrometer (PPS), with both bosons decaying into charged leptons. The analysis is based on a sample of collisions recorded by the CMS experiment at √s = 13 TeV in 2018, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 55.7 fb−1. No signal events are observed, therefore the results are interpreted as new limits on dimension-6 anomalous quartic gauge couplings, the most stringent observed so far.

Abstract
This work is based on a search for anomalous γγ → ZZ production in proton-proton collisions, using intact forward protons reconstructed by the CMS experiment’s Precision Proton Spectrometer (PPS), with both bosons decaying into charged leptons. The analysis is based on a sample of collisions recorded by the CMS experiment at √s = 13 TeV in 2018, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 55.7 fb−1. No signal events are observed, therefore the results are interpreted as new limits on dimension-6 anomalous quartic gauge couplings, the most stringent observed so far.File in questo prodotto:
