La chiesa di San Francesco d'Assisi a Torino. Origini e testimonianze medievali.

This thesis describes the church of San Francesco d’Assisi in Turin. It analyzes the documents released during the Middle Age by the friars and other local religious authorities in relation with the theories of the main historians about its origins, which remain nowadays unclear.

In questa tesi saranno descritte le vicende in cui fu coinvolta la chiesa torinese di San Francesco d’Assisi attraverso le varie testimonianze lasciate nel corso del Basso Medioevo dai frati Minori e dalle altre autorità religiose locali, confrontandole anche con le diverse teorie formulate da alcuni esperti riguardo alle sue origini, che rimangono in parte ancora oggi controverse.
