Dalla Somalia a Rio. L'avventura sportiva e umana di Farhan Hadafo Adawe

The work summarizes the sporting biography of Farhan Hadafo Adawe, a special athlete with a very big dream since he was a child: take to part in the Paralympic Games. Thank's to the interviews, reports of his experiences, photos and articles, I have been able to realize the extraordinary story of an extraordinary boy who with dedication and sacrifice has achieved many of his goals. When he was young, ho started to work out in the gym of his school, thanks to his teachers who believed in him and continued in the athletics tracks where Farhan trained with the help of a coach, who became one of his best friends, and one of the most important support who contribuited to realize his dream. Farhan participated in the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Paralympic Games under the flag of Somalia, but his new target, as an Italian citizen, is qualifies for Tokyo 2020. Despite the difficulties, Farhan is a positive model of courage and human strength and its history could be an example for everyone. Farhan is an athlete, but above all a man with an important message to communicate, disability is not a limit, can be overcome or exploited for alternative goals, if you really believe it.

Il trattato riassume la biografia sportiva di Farhan Hadafo Adawe, atleta velocista in carrozzina, che fin da adolescente ha maturato un sogno: la partecipazione ai Giochi paralimpici. Tramite le numerose interviste, i resoconti delle esperienze sportive, foto e articoli, ho costruito la straordinaria storia sportiva e umana di un ragazzo che con dedizione e sacrificio ha raggiunto molti dei suoi obiettivi. Tutto è iniziato nelle palestre scolastiche grazie a degli insegnanti che hanno creduto in lui e continua nelle piste di atletica dove Farhan si allena con l'aiuto di un allenatore, diventato suo grande amico, che ha contribuito a coronare il suo sogno. Farhan ha partecipato alle paralimpiadi di Rio de Janeiro nel 2016, sotto la bandiera della Somalia, ma la sua nuova meta, da cittadino italiano è qualificarsi per Tokyo 2020. Nonostante le numerose difficoltà affrontate, Farhan è un modello positivo di coraggio e forza umana e la sua storia può essere un esempio per tutti. Farhan è un atleta, ma soprattutto un uomo con un importante messaggio da comunicare, la disabilità non è un limite, può essere superata o sfruttata, se ci credi veramente, per traguardi alternativi.
