Understanding P forms and their dynamic changes in paddy soils is critical for nutrient management and rice production. However, the transformation, removal or accumulation of different organic P compounds should be further investigated as far as the controls and drivers of P transformation are concerned. The scope of this work is to identify the P organic forms in paddy soils and to analyze the modifications on P forms due to flooding. The aim is also at linking the organic forms to their availability for rice plant uptake. Soils pre and post rice cultivation were analized trough chemical and density fractionaction and 31 P NMR spectroscopy in order to understand P transformation due to cultivation conditions.

Abstract
Understanding P forms and their dynamic changes in paddy soils is critical for nutrient management and rice production. However, the transformation, removal or accumulation of different organic P compounds should be further investigated as far as the controls and drivers of P transformation are concerned. The scope of this work is to identify the P organic forms in paddy soils and to analyze the modifications on P forms due to flooding. The aim is also at linking the organic forms to their availability for rice plant uptake. Soils pre and post rice cultivation were analized trough chemical and density fractionaction and 31 P NMR spectroscopy in order to understand P transformation due to cultivation conditions.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
