Analysis of Big Data phenomenon and evaluation of Data Quality within the Italian Public Health Sector Specific case: SerD ASL TO2

The aim of the dissertation is to analyze what big data is, and the implications of its exploitation either misuse in the Public Administration, focusing on my concrete experience during a four months internship in the Administration Office of SerD-ASLTo2. Big Data is preannounced to be the future of any area of both private and public businesses, in which case the organization and regulation of data would be a useful tool to undermine inefficiencies and to cut costs. Intrinsic id the subject of Data Quality, which is a matter of strategic planning and the basis to set out a cost saving approach, which is the first aim to pursue in order to grant services to the community.
