Based on its past history, South Korea is putting forward its understanding of Official Development Assistance (ODA) as a partnership building upon mutual trust as well as the desire to achieve common development goals through cooperation. The production of such an inclusive discourse has been made possible in particular by the traditional centrality of state during the rapid development of the country: what has become now an important donor state has previously proven its skills by making the South Korean development a reality, thus it can be trusted to encourage developing countries to walk a similar path. In what follows, I resort to semi-structured interviews and desk-research to gain a better understanding of the unfolding of South Korean ODA policies in Morocco, in the light of the perceptions of its actors. In this sense, the aim of this thesis is to analyze the extent to which South Korean volunteers unveil and reproduce national discourses relating to South Korean national visions of ODA through their daily practices.

Abstract
In this sense, the aim of this thesis is to analyze the extent to which South Korean volunteers unveil and reproduce national discourses relating to South Korean national visions of ODA through their daily practices.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
