LO SPORT SECONDO UNA PROSPETTIVA SOCIOLOGICA: RICERCA EMPIRICA SULL’ASSOCIAZIONE VALLIADI COME STRUMENTO PER FAVORIRE LEGAMI SOCIALI, IDENTITA’ E SVILUPPO DEI TERRITORI DELLE ALTE VALLI DI LANZO.

My thesis is focused on the world of sport from a sociological perspective. I have tried to understand what are the social implications of this sector, its historical developments, its contradictions and how widespread it is at national and European level. I decided to carry out research on the association of the territory in which I live, i.e. the Valliadi, the so-called "Olympics of the Alte Valli di Lanzo" in order to understand what are the potential and the critical points that the world of sport can offer to the inhabitants of these mountain communities.

Il mio elaborato è incentrato sul mondo dello sport secondo una prospettiva sociologica. Ho cercato di comprendere quali sono le implicazioni sociali di questo settore, i suoi sviluppi storici, le sue contraddizioni e quanto esso è diffuso a livello nazionale ed europeo. Ho deciso di svolgere una ricerca sull'associazione del territorio in cui vivo, ossia le Valliadi, le cosiddette "Olimpiadi delle Alte Valli di Lanzo" al fine di comprendere quali sono le potenzialità e le criticità che il mondo dello sport può offrire agli abitanti di questi comuni montani.
