Analisi sui servizi socio-sanitari per anziani over 65 affetti da demenza in alcuni distretti dell'Asl To4

Aging and consequently dementia represent a relevant problem at the national level causing an important socio-economic impact on both society and families. Piemonte is among the top six regions with the highest aging index. The present research has investigated what concerns dementia at regulatory and legislative level and on how the Piemonte region manages the treatment of patients over 65 suffering from dementia, from the onset of the disease to end-of-life care. The data collected through AS4 To4 sources (of belonging), allowed to record an analysis of the structures present in some districts of the territory and carry out an analysis of the costs incurred by ASL and families. In a scenario now similar in all Italian regions, a complete picture of the situation was sought by analyzing needs and consequently finding answers that could satisfy users and families.
