The Orengo fund is composed in three parts, which corresponds to his 3 houses: La mortola, Torino and Treiso. The fund of the Mortola, consists of 3560 books. They were all browsed to give a commented catalog. The volumes have been divided into 3 groups: Italian literature, foreign literature (English, American, French, German, Hungarian, Belgian, Norwegian, Japanese, Czech and Russian) and non-fiction. The latter is still subdivided based on content: literature, criticism, diaries and biographies, history, cinema, art and botany. All the signs of reading have been reported, and the manuscripts, dedications, and typescripts found between the pages have been transcribed. With a comparison with the libraries of other houses, some themes emerge, in particular: childhood literature, botany, history and, last but not least, Liguria. The goal is to create a tool for anyone wishing to study this fund and giving some parameters to be able to continue the cataloging process also in the other two funds.

Il fondo Orengo è in tre parti , che corrispondono alle sue 3 case: La mortola, Torino e Treiso. Il fondo della Mortola consiste in 3560 libri. Sono stati tutti sfogliati per dare frutto a un catalogo commentato. I volumi ono stati suddivisi in 3 gruppi: letteratura italiana, letteratura straniera (inglese, americana, francese, tedesca, ungherese, belga, norvegese, giapponese, ceca e russa) e saggistica. Quest'ultima ancora suddivisa per contenuto: letteratura, critica, diari e biografie, storia, cinema arte e botanica. Sono stati segnalati tutti i segni di lettura e trascritti i manoscritti, le dediche e i dattiloscritti ritrovati tra le pagine. Con un confronto conle biblioteche delle altre case emergono alcune tematiche in particolare: la letteratura d'infanzia, la botanica, la storia e, ultima, ma non pe rimportanza, la Liguria. L'obiettivo è creare uno strumento per chiunque volesse studiare questo fondo e dei parametri per poter continuare la catalogazione anche negli altri due fondi.
