The aim of this thesis is to find a way to discern the effects due to the effective sources (i.e. modifications of dynamics related to the matter we put in the model) from those due to the conformal factor (i.e. those due to the choice of the metric) in the case of a specific f(R)-cosmology, then we will compare the Hubble drift of the extended cosmology with the Hubble drift predicted by the LambdaCDM model (which is frequently referred to as the standard model of cosmology).

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to find a way to discern the effects due to the effective sources (i.e. modifications of dynamics related to the matter we put in the model) from those due to the conformal factor (i.e. those due to the choice of the metric) in the case of a specific f(R)-cosmology, then we will compare the Hubble drift of the extended cosmology with the Hubble drift predicted by the LambdaCDM model (which is frequently referred to as the standard model of cosmology).
