ESPERIENZA ESTETICA E IMPROVVISAZIONE: UN'INDAGINE A PARTIRE DA DEWEY

The purpose of this thesis is to show the deweyan contribution to the aesthetics of improvisation, analyzing the creative process and trying to highlight the role of environmental and contextual interaction. In fact, organism-environment interaction is not only a cornerstone of Dewey's philosophy, but also plays a decisive role in improvisational practices. The thesis is divided into three chapters: 1. Experience as an interaction between organism and environment, 2. From experience in general to aesthetic experience, 3. The theoretical contribution to improvisational practices.

Lo scopo di questa tesi è mostrare il contributo deweyano all'estetica dell'improvvisazione, analizzando il processo creativo e cercando di evidenziare il ruolo dell'interazione ambientale e contestuale. Infatti, l'interazione organismo-ambiente non è soltanto un cardine della filosofia di Dewey, ma svolge un ruolo determinante anche nelle pratiche improvvisative. La tesi è articolata in tre capitoli: 1. L'esperienza come interazione tra organismo e ambiente, 2. Dall'esperienza in generale all'esperienza estetica, 3. Il contributo teorico alle pratiche improvvisative.
