Abilità comunicativo pragmatica e funzioni cognitive in età evolutiva

The present study investigates the relationship between communicative pragmatic abilities and other cognitive functions, like Executive Functions, Theory of Mind and inferential ability. Specifically, the research lies in the theoretical framework of Cognitive Pragmatics and examines a sample of 104 normotypical children between 3 and 8 years old. Many neuropsychological tests are administered to the subjects to evaluate the performance in the selected cognitive abilities, to draw a picture of the growth of those abilities in the trajectories of development and to analyze the relationships that exist between cognitive abilities and communicative pragmatic competence.

Il presente elaborato indaga la relazione tra abilità comunicativo pragmatiche e altre funzioni cognitive, quali Funzioni Esecutive, Teoria della mente e abilità inferenziale, in età evolutiva. Nello specifico, la ricerca è formulata nella cornice teorica della Pragmatica Cognitiva e prende in esame un campione di 104 bambini con sviluppo normotipico compresi tra i 3 e gli 8 anni. Ai soggetti vengono somministrate numerose batterie di test neuropsicologici volti a valutare le prestazioni nelle abilità indagate, con lo scopo di tracciare un quadro dell’emergere di tali abilità nelle traiettorie di sviluppo e analizzare le relazioni che tali abilità intrattengono con la competenza pragmatica.
